More About Me

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist and received my PhD from George Washington University. I am trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Relational Cultural Therapy (RCT), and short and long-term relational approaches to therapy.

In addition to clinical work, I have worked as a professor at Juniata College and George Washington University, where I have taught courses in abnormal psychology, developmental psychology, clinical psychology, and statistics, among other courses.

I love working with individuals going through life transitions, and have worked at length with emerging adults in my clinical and research work.

My research informs my clinical practice as well. Primarily, I have conducted research on anxiety and fear, with additional work on emergency preparedness, stressful life events, and PTSD.
